Colorado PI can provide extensive Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures (TSCM), better known as "bug sweeps or debugging" services to corporations, business owners, and the general public, including physical and electronic inspections of items such as briefcasees, cellphones, telephones, automobiles, offices, homes, aircrafts, boats, meeting rooms and more.
Our trained and experienced TSDM experts will endeavor to locate and identify possible covert surveillance devices (bugs) and/or technical security weaknesses. A complete TSCM inspection will also evaluate for weaknesses of all locks, alarms, entry, computer and other systems which may be at risk from electronic surveillance.
What is TSCM? It is the technical name for TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE COUNTER MEASURES. Also called by or known by “Bug Sweeps” or “Wiretapping”.
A person may say - I think my Business or Home is “BUGGED” They say I am hearing clicking on my phone, or a person seem to be every were I am or on the other hand, knows things that only I know.
This could be just a bad connection on a phone, cheap equipment or that person is going the same way you are in your car. It could be anyone of a number of things and then again, it could be that someone has “bugged” you. You, your car, your business, your home and your computer.
So what do you do now? Call from a site away from your business, home, home phone and computer. Call from a pay phone if can. Use a computer that is not yours away from the above. This is very important to follow.
First, you will not find most people who are trained in TSCM nor is a specialist in this field, in the phone book. They do not run ads in the local newspaper. For the most part, you would need to go to a person such a PI (Private Investigator) or others who know and work with them. Next you have to understand that is a very specializes skill and not everyone out there know what to do and how to do it. Most companies will require a retainer first before anything can or will be done.
For a full services sweep, it can take one to five days of services. It all depends on what needs to be done and were it needs to be done (A check list will be used to work up what will be done and how.)
